Educational Support

To ensure that our students receive practical training with a broad perspective, our department actively involves corporate partners in various aspects of educational activities. We also welcome any suggestions or proposals from our partner companies. Please send your ideas directly to our department head, Dr. Judit T. Kiss, at tkiss@eng.unideb.hu or contact the department secretary at bakjudit@eng.unideb.hu.

Factory Visits

Factory visits offer students invaluable opportunities to get to know corporate partners firsthand. These visits provide a direct look into the business environment and its practical operations, offering real-world learning experiences that help deepen theoretical knowledge and improve understanding of industrial processes.

Factory visits also allow students to explore different industries and professional roles, while giving companies the chance to connect with talented, motivated students.

During these visits, corporate partners can showcase their latest technologies, processes, and innovations. This interaction can inspire universities and students, offering ideas for research and development and promoting innovation and competitiveness in the industry.

Student Competitions

Corporate-sponsored university student competitions offer numerous benefits for both companies and participating students. These events not only help identify and recruit talent but also enhance the company’s brand image and appeal to students. Such competitions encourage innovation and problem-solving among students, while strengthening the relationship between companies and educational institutions. Additionally, they foster teamwork and leadership skills, aiding in both the professional and personal success of students. The overall advantages of these events support companies in talent acquisition and relationship building with the education sector, while providing valuable professional development and career-building opportunities for students.

Guest Lectures

Guest lectures by corporate partners offer great value to both universities and students. These events allow students to gain direct insights into the corporate world, understanding real workplace environments and challenges. Such experiences provide students with practical learning opportunities, helping to deepen theoretical knowledge and better understand industrial processes and trends. Additionally, guest lectures give students the chance to interact with business leaders and industry experts, helping them build networks in their professional fields. These events inspire and motivate students, exposing them to new perspectives and career opportunities. Moreover, guest lectures not only benefit students but also enable universities to strengthen industry-academia connections and enhance opportunities for students’ professional development. Overall, corporate guest lectures are valuable tools for education and career advancement, contributing to both student success and industry innovation.

Dual Education Program

The most intensive form of collaboration between students and companies is the Dual Education Program, where students work as employees at a company while completing their studies. Detailed information about this program can be found here in Hungarian.

If your company is interested in joining the Dual Education Program, please contact the relevant faculty representative, Ágnes György, at agnes@eng.unideb.hu.

Thesis Topic Provision

Another excellent opportunity for collaboration is offering thesis or dissertation topics. We believe it’s essential for students to work on real-world challenges, and it’s particularly beneficial when they can do so in a corporate environment with the guidance of industry professionals.

If your company can offer topics for our undergraduate or master’s students, please send them to Judit Bak at bakjudit@eng.unideb.hu.

Providing Internship Opportunities

Internships are a mandatory part of the curriculum for both bachelor’s and master’s programs. Undergraduate students must complete a 6-week (240-hour) internship, while master’s students are required to complete a 4-week (160-hour) internship. Internships offer a great chance for companies to get to know students without any commitment, allowing them to evaluate candidates according to their preferences.

If your company can provide an internship opportunity for our students, please contact the relevant faculty representative, Ágnes György, at agnes@eng.unideb.hu.

Detailed information for students can be found on this page.
